Lihie Talmor, Kika Levy & Anne Louyot
Mirar el olvido
Edition of 60
Accompanied by texts by French writer Anne Louyot, Mirar el olvido is a project that brings together graphic works by Brazilian artist Kika Levy and Venezuelan-Israeli artist Lihie Talmor. The project aims to harmoniously represent a gaze towards oblivion and distant histories.
Mirar el olvido, originally produced as a limited edition Artist Book, successfully and subtly integrates three distinct, creative personalities that express three united cultures. The book, incorporating a trio of craft-based methods of printing – etching, lithography and silk screen – was subsequently published commercially by bid & co. editor sponsored by CAF Banco de Desarollo de America Latina.
