The seven drawings of video stills are placed inside the book according to their timecodes ie. the width across the pages equals the length of the video. By breaking up Seablanket's voyage chronologically, its linear passage through time and the seascape is emphasised. Video records real time to achieve representation whilst drawing abstracts time to achieve likeness. I am interested in the visual and physical dynamic in between representations of landscape and the experience of it.
Giclée prints of original graphite drawings reproduced actual size. Printed onto Fabriano hot press watercolour paper. Hand screen printed cover on card.
